This app is for you when...
...the GPS on your phone is poorly or not working.
...you don't want to drain the battery of you main phone.
...you are travalling in a group and want to use one single gps location to spare battery.

DISCLAIMER:
This app uses a feature called "Location mocking". It isn't intended to be used by normal app and therefore is not as easy to permit as e.g. access to your storage.
This also doesn't work with "Google Maps", "Earth", etc., but most certainly with any other third party app that uses gps (e.g. fitness apps).
Also: DO NOT use this app in open wifi networks! This app sends the location (gps sharing) data to everyone who can connect to your phone.

HOW IT WORKS:
This app has two modes: gps sharing/sending and gps receiving/mocking.
- You start gps sharing on one phone and gps receiving on as many additional phones as you desire.
- You connect all those phones to the same wifi network. You also can use the hotspot feature built into your phone for this.
- You start sharing gps on one phone and on the other phone(s) you enter the address displayed on the sharing gps to receive it.
- You're done.

FAQ:
App X doesn't show the expected location:
» GPS mocking doesn't work with all apps because some are using Google's location services (e.g. Google Maps and Earth) which can't get mocked.
App X demands that I turn my gps on:
» The app doesn't know that the location is beeing mocked. When turning on your gps the app will still use the location of the sending smartphone as long as your smartphone doesn't display the gps icon.
App X started using my gps (gps icon shows up):
» Sometimes the smartphone doesn't recognize the mocked location correct. First try restarting this and the problematic app. If this doesn't do the trick restart your smartphone.
